Domain configuration

Let's start by understanding what a custom sender means:

It is the full email address used to send your email campaigns. For example: name@yourcompany.com. These types of custom domains are better interpreted by email clients in delivery processes and strengthen your brand image with both customers and readers.

By default, the account they are sent with is an account that belongs to a domain owned by MDirector. If you follow the recommendations set out in this document, you can make the sender’s address the same as the client’s domain.

Let’s look at a real example:

The email name chosen as the sender for email marketing campaigns is not a decision that should be taken lightly:

The domain sender configuration is crucial to avoid the email being sent to the spam folder and to avoid being blocked due to lack of correct configuration (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). In order to do this, the sender email must be verified and authenticated correctly. These verifications and authentications prove that you have access to send emails on behalf of the company. In essence, this authentication is a security measure that shows that no one else can send on your behalf, only you, and it is also highly valued when it comes to the credibility perceived by your subscribers.
